Worship God
Our highest calling as followers of Jesus is to worship God – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. As a church, we seek to glorify and enjoy God when we gather together and in all of life. We gather together each Sunday to sing praises to God, hear his Word, pray for his work in our lives, and participate in the sacraments.

Proclaim the Gospel
At DPC, we believe that the Bible is the Word of God and at the center of it all is Jesus. Therefore we seek to proclaim the gospel of the life, death and resurrection of Jesus in all that we do, believing that salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to mankind by which we must be saved.

Jesus told his disciples – “just as I have loved you, you also are to love one another. By this all people will know you are my disciples.” At DPC, we are striving to grow in our love for one another and for our neighbors in Denton. We believe that christian community – characterized by life-giving relationships, God exalting worship, and regular pastoral care – is the necessary context in which discipleship occurs. The pursuit of this kind of genuine Christian community is an essential part of our mission as a church.

DPC is committed to planting churches in the Dallas/Fort Worth Metro area. We believe that the best way to share the good news of Jesus is through establishing new church communities that are seeking to reach new people.
