We hope that all who read this will be blessed this Thanksgiving Day. Please join us this coming Sunday for a time of prayer, worship, and communion. We look forward to seeing you!
We, at Denton Presbyterian Church, pray that each of you will have a safe and joyful Thanksgiving. We invite you to join us this coming Sunday for a morning of prayer, worship, and communion.
We know that this time of year can highlight both the joys and bounty in our lives, but also the lows and losses. Christ Jesus was sacrificed, died, and was buried – and rose from the dead that we might know true freedom and the bounty of His love and grace through all circumstances.
Please consider coming to visit us this Sunday. We would love to see you and worship together with you!
We hope you will join us for prayer, Sunday School, and worship on Sunday, November 24th.
The reading of God’s Word will be Hebrews 11:32-40 and the sermon will be based on Daniel 6. Robert Wagner will be preaching the sermon.
We meet for a time of prayer at 8:45. Sunday School classes convene afterward and lead into the corporate worship service. Communion is held each Sunday as part of our corporate worship.
We hope to see you there!
We are in the process of loading past sermons so they can be easily accessed from this website. These are a great resource if you are unable to attend a particular Sunday, have friends and loved ones who need the encouragement of teachings from God’s Word, or if you just want to listen again. The feed appears on the right-hand side of most of the pages on this website. We encourage you to visit the Stay in Touch page in particular as it provides a form where you can also sign up to receive the weekly emails.
We are excited to see a number of new faces – and the return of others – as the Fall Semester begins at UNT. We hope that you will join us in prayer time (8:45 on Sundays), and also Sunday school. We know that, between school, work, and study time, it can be a lot just to make it to the morning worship services. But we hope that you know that your unique backgrounds, perspectives, and spiritual gifts are profoundly beneficial to the health of our church body. We look forward to getting to know you better – and for you to make bonds within the church. Please consider joining the Community Groups and participating in activities as your time allows!
