March 15 Sunday Services Cancelled

March 13, 2020 By Denton Presbyterian Blogger Leave a Comment

Our leaders met and decided that it would be most prudent to cancel our services this Sunday, March 15th. This is being done out of an abundance of caution for the well being of our members and visitors and to help stem the spread of the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Please stay in touch with one another in other ways (phone, social media) and continue in prayer for those here and around the world who are impacted by this virus physically and economically.

We will post and distribute more information as soon as possible about future services and plans.

Sunday, February 16, 2020

February 15, 2020 By Denton Presbyterian Blogger Leave a Comment

We hope you will join us Sunday, February 16th, for prayer, study, and worship.

Prayer time begins at 8:45 am. Sunday School convenes at 9:15, with worship starting at 10:30.

This week the Reading of God’s Word will be Psalm 7, and the Hearing of God’s Word will be Luke 4:31-44. Pastor Robert Wagner will preach the sermon.

If you have not signed up to receive or offer assistance in the upcoming DPC Helping Hands event, please be sure to do so. A terrific opportunity to get that “thing” done you have been putting off – or to help someone else with their needs.

We have two ongoing weekly Bible Studies underway. We encourage you to participate and don’t be concerned that they have been underway for a few weeks. These studies are ones that you can come to at any time.

The Men’s study is focused on Tim Keller’s “The Meaning of Marriage.”  This a terrific study for those married, contemplating marriage, or just desiring to know more about relationships.
