We look forward to having you join us in the gymnasium at First Presbyterian Church (1114 West University Drive, Denton, TX). Services begin at 10:30 am. You may also worship with us virtually and that information follows.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we are respectfully asking that everyone continue to wear a mask when joining us for worship at the church. We ask that you visit our Worship page for additional information on the special precautions we are following during COVID-19 for everyone’s safety and comfort. We want to do as much as possible to help those who are at risk to feel like our worship service is a safe and healthy place to gather. We look forward to worshiping with those who can meet in person and online. If you have any questions about the gathering process after reviewing the information on the Worship page, please reach out via the Contact Us form or directly to any of the Elders or Deacons.
The service is broadcast each week on our YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9-l2Yf1biBIwHxIirI53IA You can also visit the channel to catch up or rewatch prior services.
Reading of God’s Word: Psalm 40
Hearing God’s Word: Luke 12:45-13:9
Confession of Faith – Romans 3:20-25
“For by works of the law no human being will be justified in his sight, since through the law comes knowledge of sin. But now the righteousness of God has been manifested apart from the law, although the Law and the Prophets bear witness to it—the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ for all who believe. For there is no distinction: for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus, whom God put forward as a propitiation by his blood, to be received by faith.”
