Instructions for This Sunday, March 22nd
All of us are trying to figure out what life looks like during this strange time of social distancing and restaurant closings and limiting gatherings of more than 50 or even 10 people. And this means that we are not able to gather together as a church to worship our Lord. But we still want to try to worship the Lord the best we can during this time. So we are going to try to stream the worship service this Sunday (3/22) online. You can click the link below (or copy and paste it into your browser if clicking does not work)

We hope that this helps us draw close to the Lord and to one another.
I encourage you to participate as fully as if we were together. I know that it will be awkward to sing and confess our faith at home – but I encourage you to give it a try. Obviously we will not be having communion, but most everything else will be the same. The only other changes we will make are to add a pastoral prayer with the Confession of Sin and to have just one hymn at the end of the service.
We are emailing bulletins out to those on our mailing list. If you need a paper bulletin, you can come by First Presbyterian Church in Denton on Saturday between 4 and 4:30 pm – where we have our new offices and from where we will be streaming our services. You can try to open the bulletin here, but we are not certain if this will pull up for everyone.
If you have any questions about the service, please use the Contact Us form, or reach out to myself or one of the other officers directly if you have that contact information. Please feel free to share the links for the service with others. I’m sure there will be some awkwardness and that things will not go perfectly, but the Lord can take our imperfections and make them holy.
Keeping my distance,
Robert Allen Wagner
